Sentrex cleans up with the help of Positive

The Manchester-based facilities management company, Sentrex Services UK Ltd (“Sentrex”), has seen its turnover increase by 60 per cent after investing in smartphone technology, email marketing and its fleet of vehicles with the help of funding from Positive Cashflow Finance (“Positive Cashflow”).

Sentrex provides facilities management services to businesses across the North West, including commercial cleaning, high and low level window washing, industrial maintenance, interior landscaping and ground services and the odd job man solution, all working with major household name companies.

Sentrex developed and introduced a service that uses Blackberry communications, iPad apps and SatNav Monitoring to enable clients to monitor in real-time where the Sentrex team is and what work is being done. This has enabled Sentrex recently to win two clients, which are worth a combined annual turnover of a quarter of a million pounds.

Andrew Moorwood, managing director at Sentrex, said: “Our ongoing relationship with Positive Cashflow has given us financial flexibility to fund exciting projects, like the smartphone apps, that have given us a real competitive edge. Since securing our first funding line five years ago we have managed to grow our staff headcount by 30 per cent and provide superior customer service without worrying about cashflow.”

Simon Cook, commercial director at Positive Cashflow, said: “Sentrex is taking a lead in its sector by expanding services and using the latest technology to serve its clients and differentiate itself in a crowded market. This success demonstrates what can be achieved by a determined business with the right financial support to let it focus on its customers.”
