Companies urged to help with market research report
North East digital marketing agency Fifteen Digital is calling on UK businesses to contribute to its new market researchreport concerning the digital marketing world.
The report – entitled Digital & Social Media Marketing 2012-2013 – is being compiled by Darlington-based Fifteen Digital with a view to gaining a deeper insight into the UK’s current attitude to digital marketing in order to share best practice with the UK’s professional marketing & business community and adapting its strategy accordingly.
The Company recently circulated a digital marketing survey to help gather as much information as possible for the report, and is now urging recipients to return it by the deadline of Friday, June 1st.
So far, the study has revealed that 45% of UK firms make no annual investment in digital marketing, despite clear evidence of its rewards compared to other forms of marketing.
The research also shows that just 10% of the respondent’s 2012/13 marketing budget is being spent on digital marketing activities.
This research remains ongoing, however, the Company still requires more completed surveys from businesses to provide a more accurate picture of attitudes towards digital marketing.
Respondents will be entered into a prize draw to win one of many marketing services provided by Fifteen Digital, including an HTML email marketing campaign, a social media set-up, or an SEO analysis and report on a corporate website.
Managing director John Borthwick said: “In this period of rapid expansion, we need to ensure that we are on the right path.
“You cannot argue with data-driven market research findings and we need to ensure that our future strategy reflects demand.”
Fifteen Digital, which has offices in Darlington and Stoke-on-Trent, lists a wide range of SMEs among its clients.
The firm specialises in web development as well as low cost web hosting that is supported by a selection of digital solutions aimed at boosting business growth for small businesses.
