Pasty Taxes
The Government has announced a u-turn over plans to impose VAT on Cornish Pasties, indicating that Ministers are finally beginning to listen to the needs of the public.
After altering the definition of a hot pasty, hot snacks will now be sold exactly like cold snack, in a move which will be seen as a major victory for the masses. However, the Government have been condemned for their actions by Labour, who view the debacle as an indication of how out of touch the Government really are.
