Version One plants 340 trees with Tree Appeal

Document management and imaging software author, Version One, today has planted 340 trees in the grounds of Cheadle Hulme School as part of Version One’s environmental initiative, in partnership with Tree Appeal. This tree planting, which forms part of Version One’s environmental initiative, ties-in with the company’s development of ‘paperless office’ software.

Version One’s trees are being planted in the grounds ofCheadleHulmeSchool, in partnership with Tree Appeal, an organisation which plants trees to promote biodiversity, create new habitats and improve the environment. 340 Blackthorn and Hawthorn trees are being planted in the School grounds to create hedgerows.

Hedgerows are particularly beneficial for the environment, creating sustainable habitats for wildlife, reducing pollution and providing vital food sources for mammals, birds, and insects.

Version One has been planting trees in School grounds and sustainable forests throughout theUKsince 2006 and has planted 4,657 trees to date (including theCheadleHulmeSchooltrees).

Ken Whitley, Managing Director from Tree Appeal says, “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Version One for a sixth year now.
