Wolverhampton Accountants get Badger’s Business tips

Ruth Badger, Wolverhampton born straight-talking business woman and motivational speaker of ‘The Apprentice’ fame, gave over 75 local management accountants business tips to help them in the current economic times. Local management accountants met Ruth at the Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club at 6.30pm on Tuesday 12th June at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) event ‘How to do business the Badger way’.

Ruth Badger met management accountants sharing her business knowledge and helping local businesses thrive in the current economic climate. Ruth showed management accountants at the CIMA event how she identifies weaknesses and brough them up to speed on the latest sales and marketing practice.

Ruth Badger, speaking at the CIMA event said, ‘Management Accountants are in a great position to really bury their head in the business and understand what is going on. Your figures tell you so much about what’s going on in the business and getting to grips with your day-to-day figures cannot only keep you afloat but identify what you can be doing better.’

The event also raised money for the Walsall Hospice and the CIMA Benevolent Fund. CIMA run a series of events for students, members and guests in Wolverhampton and throughout the West Midlands on a regular basis across the year.
