Eagles tribute as good as the real thing

Talon who are celebrating their 15th anniversary as an Eagles tribute band are without doubt very accomplished and talented musicians in their own right.

Technically superb in reproducing The Eagles sound this band delivered a fantastic show to a very appreciative audience.

From the moment they opened their Best of The Eagles show they recreated The Eagles hits with a professionalism that looked effortless.

Each one performed with such versatility using the vast array of instruments on the stage including pedal steel, acoustic and electric guitars. Great percussion and keyboards also helped to achieve this standard of excellence.

The guitar work was simply breathtaking and performed with such easy confidence and obvious enjoyment.

I think that is the key really, this band are fans of The Eagles work and literally pay tribute to them with a passion. They just love what they do and share this with the audience.

All of the favourites were there including Best of My Love, Already Gone, Tequila Sunrise, Witchy Woman,

Heartache Tonight, Hotel California and many more all faultlessly performed with great vocals and fantastic harmonies.

Some dedications were read out during the evening and we were invited to join in the chorus towards the close of the show. To a standing ovation the band came back on stage for an encore of Desperado.

A truly outstanding band with a growing following in their own right and a very enjoyable evening.
