EU rules on workers annual leave
The European Court of Justice has ruled that workers who fall sick during their annual leave are entitled to take more at a later date.
In the EU Working Time Directive grants workers a right to at least four weeks paid annual leave, and the ECJ say the point at which a person becomes ill is irrelevant.
