CBRE’s Leeds Industrial Agency team has been appointed to market the 121,402 sq ft Express Way warehouse unit on the impressive 220 acre Wakefield Europort development that accommodates such occupiers as Asda, Royal Mail, DHL and is regarded as one of the most significant distribution parks in the North of England.

The instruction follows the team’s recent appointment to market three additional properties totalling 255,000 sq ft in size, all around J31 of the M62 in West Yorkshire.

An 108,518 sq ft warehouse is available to let on Don Pedro Avenue in Normanton, an additional 84,000 sq ft industrial/warehousing unit with associated headquarter offices is ready for occupation at Pioneer Business Park on Pioneer Way in Castleford and Building 1000 at Link 62 on Premier Way South in Normanton adds another 66,147sq ft unit which can be let.

Junction 31 of the M62 is widely regarded as one of the major distribution hubs in the North of England. The M1 intersection is just 2 miles to the West and the A1(M) only 4.5 miles to the East. Occupiers who have established operations within the locality include; Argos, TK Maxx and DHL.

When occupied, the properties may generate local employment opportunities and will make a positive contribution to the local economy, boosting property take-up levels within the region.

Toby Vernon, Senior Director, Industrial Agency, CBRE said: “The four properties vary in size and but all offer modern industrial and warehousing accommodation finished to a very high specification in a prime West Yorkshire location. Occupier demand in this location remains good and we are currently dealing with some significant enquiries.”
