SunGard Availability Services wins at the Datacentre Awards
SunGard Availability Services has been recognised for its exceptional workplace recovery services after scooping the Most Sustainable Workplace Recovery Provider at the annual Datacentre Awards ceremony. SunGard was also shortlisted in the European Managed Services award category.
“We are delighted to see the significant investments we’ve made in our Workplace Recovery and Managed Services business being recognised. As we increasingly see the use of Managed Services and Managed Recovery Programs being implemented to support business availability and eliminate recovery complexities, the Datacentre Awards adds to our growing reputation as providers of high quality business resilience”, comments Keith Tilley, managing director UK & executive vice president Europe, SunGard Availability Services. “Organizations need a combination of resilient IT production services and recovery, which integrates and manages the infrastructure to create the optimal model for business availability.”
This award follows hot on the heels from SunGard’s success from being awarded Notification System of the Year by DRI International, as well as being shortlisted for four CIR Business Continuity Awards.
