Euro presents interesting choice to UK, says Blair
According to Tony Blair, the UK faces an “interesting choice” over whether to join the Euro, in the event that the currency’s problems are resolved.
Mr Blair said that the UK should be open to the option of joining the Euro, especially as European integration was inevitable “like it or not”.
However, in light of bailout calls from Greece, Spain and Croatia in recent days, is this really the case? Should the UK consider the Euro, or is it destined to fail?
