Black Country Asian Business Association gears for awards
The Black Country Asian Business Association’s (BCABA) annual awards evening is set to take place next week.
Supported by the Black Country LEP, the awards is expected to attract up to 450 business representatives, with chair of the LEP, Stewart Towe, as one of the night’s key speakers.
Ninder Johal, LEP board member and chair of BCABA, said: “BCABA is going from strength to strength. Its aim is to provide a strong voice for lobbying, a platform for Asian businesses, and signposting to mainstream support and advice.
“The LEP is one of the leading bodies in the region for offering this support to businesses and we are delighted that Stewart Towe will be speaking at this year’s event.”
Stewart Towe, chair of the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “The Black Country LEP works hard to engage with as many businesses across the region to help remove barriers to growth.
“With 2,500 businesses, BCABA is a large association and we are keen to hear the voice of Asian business owners to ensure appropriate support is in place to help them grow and prosper.”
Awards will be presented in seven categories, including business start-up, young entrepreneur, community excellence, regeneration, innovations and enterprise and businessperson of the year.
