Analox expands its Sales Team
Analox Sensor Technology has expanded its sales team, bringing in a new sales executive with a background in customer services and sales, as well as an ‘addiction’ to scuba diving.
David Pollard, 36, has joined Analox in a newly-created role which will see him targeting new business in the hospitality, industrial and commercial diving sectors, as well as, appropriately, the sport diving industry. Analox Sensor Technology is a world-leading supplier of gas analysis equipment for the sport and commercial diving industries, and hospitality sector.
David’s career to date has included 11 years in customer service with Orange, developing his role to work in the corporate department on major blue chip accounts, before moving to a sales role with Danwood. He sees his new role with Analox Sensor Technology as an opportunity to further develop his sales skills and broaden his horizons.
He said: “I was looking for a job that would prove both interesting and challenging, and I’m looking forward to developing new skills as well as using my past experience, especially in customer services, to help the company in its aspirations.”
Simon Lunt, sales manager with Analox Sensor Technology, added: “Serving our customers is one of our core principles as we aim to grow Analox’s business. David has fresh ideas and plenty of valuable experience in this field, alongside his sales background. He also has some experience of sport diving, helping him pick up the ropes quickly and build rapport with customers.”
David’s first scuba dive was on holiday in Rhodes - an experience which he described as addictive. He plans to dive more in the future. He has played rugby for his school and Durham University, and played American Football for Gateshead Senators, including playing in the team which won the National Championships in 1999. Originally from Swindon, he settled in Darlington following university, and now lives there with his wife and 2 year old daughter.
Analox Sensor Technology Ltd is based in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, and specialises in the design and manufacture of gas analysers for military and commercial use.
