Silicon Valley stories at Liverpool Business Week
Downtown Liverpool in Business is set to host its annual Liverpool Business Week, boasting events for business leaders.
One of the key events of the week will be a forum entitled ‘Leaders: Born or Made?’ which will feature some of the region’s leading entrepreneurs, discussing the importance of leadership as a key ingredient of any business.
Delegates will also hear from business leaders who have recently visited Silicon Valley, who will share their experience of meetings with global corporations, including Facebook and LinkedIn.
Former mentor to Everton Football Club manager David Moyes and Open Golf Championship winner Darren Clarke, Michael Finnigan will also share his expertise with attendees.
Elsewhere, chief executive of Liverpool City Council Ged Fitzgerald, will talk about marketing Liverpool, the Local Enterprise Partnership, Liverpool’s ten year plan, and the changes an elected mayor will have on the local authority.
Frank McKenna, chairman of DLIB, said: “This is going to be an exciting and inspiring event with plenty of insider information from successful business figures. It will be a great addition to our programme for Liverpool Business Week.”
