Why aren’t businesses feeling confident?
Business confidence has plummeted to its lowest level in 2012, indicating that a bleak second half of the year is in store for the UK economy.
While there has been some positive news of late - a fall in unemployment and cuts to the deficit - it appears that the difficulties in the Eurozone continue to overshadow any economic gains which have been made. So how can this negative attitude be reversed, and what should the Government be doing to improve business confidence?
Or should confidence be coming from businesses themselves?
