Consultancy to support Europe’s busiest ferry port
A North East company has been selected as the technology partner of Europe’s busiest ferry port.
Waterstons Ltd has been awarded a 5 year contract to provide the Port of Dover with IT consultancy services.
Port of Dover is one of the busiest roll-on, roll-off ferry ports in the world and serves in the region of 13 million passengers and over 4.7 million vehicles a year. The Port is also UK’s second busiest cruise port (with 136 cruise ship visiting the Port in 2010). The Port has also facilitated 152,000 tonnes of cargo last year and continued to manage its busy marina and property portfolio.
Waterstons will provide Consultancy services to support the Port’s ICT Department.
