Business booms at Powell Bateson

Business is growing from strength to strength for Liverpool-based insurance firm Powell Bateson, as it appoints four new members of staff.

The company, which was set up 18 months ago by company Directors Eliot Powell and Karen Bateson, has achieved substantial growth in its client base and has almost trebled its income during this time.

Over the past month, the firm has also expanded its staff team, adding four new job roles to help service the company’s ever growing portfolio of clients.

Company Director Karen Bateson explains, “Despite starting the company in the midst of a very difficult economic climate, we’ve grown fairly rapidly.

“We’ve more than doubled our staff size, which is a fantastic position to be in – but we’re also constantly on the lookout for bright new talent as we continue to expand and add to the team.”

Director Eliot Powell adds, “I think that a large part of that success is due to our strong client-focused approach, which is fairly unique in the marketplace.”

“We’re a small, dedicated team which works closely with businesses to help them identify and minimise risk in all elements of their business, in order to provide solutions which actually help to drive their insurance costs down.”

“We genuinely care about our clients, and I think that’s demonstrated well through the fact that we’ve not only enjoyed substantial growth, but also achieved an impressive track record of almost 100% client retention.”

The firm has also recently been awarded chartered status from the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII), an industry standard for excellence which just 100 out of 3,500 insurance companies operating in the UK have managed to achieve.
