Nortech Solutions Expands into the Recruitment Market

Nortech Solutions Limited, a professional engineering design and project management company based at Wynyard, has launched a sister company specialising in the recruitment market to support its growing internal needs and those of its clients externally.

The new company named Nortech Staffing Solutions Ltd, which has created two new jobs, will source and provide permanent and temporary personnel to meet its growing recruitment requirements across a wide range of market sectors.

The Nortech Group of companies has gone from strength to strength since being established by highly respected businessman Bryan Bunn - who has substantial experience in the petrochemical, oil and gas, energy and iron and steel sectors - in April 2011.

Belying the general tough economic conditions, Nortech is finding that the flow of business is being boosted by the buoyancy of the oil and petrochemical markets, particularly the international offshore oil and gas markets, based in Aberdeen.

Two additional staff members have been recruited to take Nortech Staffing Solutions Ltd forward with senior recruitment consultant Luke Fovargue joining to bring a wealth of experience, supported by Claire Bishop as a recruitment administrator.

Nortech Staffing Solutions Ltd has already secured a number of initial clients and is currently tendering for new contracts both within the UK and internationally.

Bryan Bunn, Managing Director at the Nortech Group, commented: “It is yet another positive reflection of the number of jobs currently being created which are based on the North East’s engineering capacities and we will be recruiting additional resources to cope with the demand both in the UK and internationally for our quality services.”

Nortech Solutions has this year secured a number of key contracts including Jersey Gas Co Ltd, located in the Channel Islands. The project, due to continue into 2013, involves feasibility studies and detail engineering design to upgrade its gas production plant on the island.

Nortech has also secured a number of on-going engineering design contracts for confidential clients in the international offshore oil and gas market. Other contact wins include an international steel manufacturing client.
