Adidas Gets Illustrated
Adidas are really giving it their all for the London 2012 Olympics, they’ve even gone so far as to have illustrators draw up unique and individual cover wraps for the Metro papers (yes the free ones you get on the bus).
Adidas are spending a total of £2.25m on the campaign, making it the largest the brand has ever run.
Illustrations of athletes such as Jessica Ennis, Bradley Wiggins and Tom Daley are scheduled to be printed on the day they compete. These glorious depictions will be running for the main 17 days of the Olympics so be sure to pick yours up on the way to work.
Nick Craggs, UK marketing director at Adidas stated: “A consecutive cover wrap of this scale has never been done before, and demonstrates our commitment to driving stand-out as a partner of London 2012.”
