Temp-Team expands horizons by taking on new employee

North East recruitment firm TEMP-TEAM is expanding its employment team by recruiting a Marketing Coordinator.

Northumbria University business graduate Kate Smith joined the North East-based recruitment firm to help continue its successful rising client demand. It is also this growing demand that has seen Temp Team recently move its head office into larger premises at Metro Riverside, Gateshead.

Kate commented “I am pleased to be joining such a great company which has continued to grow despite the economic slump; I’m looking forward to being able to offer my skills in marketing, contributing to Temp-Team’s growing demand”.

Kate Smith, the new Marketing Coordinator, will be working with all Temp-Team’s North East, Scottish and Cumbria branches, helping increase their online presence working hard to attract even more business in the commercial, technical and industrial sectors.

Despite the economic down turn, TEMP-TEAM has been able to add to its existing team of staff after a successful year of contract expansion and business growth.

Managing director, Julie Cummings, feels very strongly that expanding the skills within the company are key in the recruitment industry. Julie said “We have managed marketing activities within the business through support from an external provider as well as senior management, but it is much more effective to have a dedicated marketing coordinator within the business. We also feel that this is an important area for the business as we look to expand our links with candidates and clients through social media.”

Operations director, Rachel Young, said “It’s great that we are continuing to grow and trade so strongly in a difficult climate.

“Each TEMP-TEAM branch prides itself on offering a flexible service depending on client requirements, and we believe if Kate puts in the effort that’s she’s shown she is capable of, then the branch’s and subsequently its team will be able to grow even further this year.”
