Graduate Placement was a SMART idea
Inspirar Business Support Ltd, are delighted to have worked with the undergraduate placement scheme through Teesside University.
David Turpie, Director at Inspirar said “As a small digital business showing growth, it is vitally important we embrace and allow undergraduates the opportunity to be able to showcase themselves, where it matters - in business. This message is also supported by Teesside University”.
During her five week placement, Undergraduate, Zarina Yaqoob was responsible for managing clients with the implementation of Smart-Scan, a QR Code marketing and management tool designed and developed by Inspirar for the property and retail market.
Zarina also promoted the specialist website package designed specifically for schools and academies. Using traditional marketing as well as social media to raise awareness.
The opportunity gave Zarina the chance to express herself in a local business that matches her interest and skills in business and marketing.
Zarina commented “this was a great opportunity for me, as I really enjoyed the practical side of business and marketing. This role allowed me to help Inspirar manage their existing clients as well as utilise social media to promote their products and services”.
Inspirar also recently occupied some of the new office space at Boho, Middlesbrough, where Zarina was based. This allowed her to interact with the Inspirar team as well as other local businesses specifically in the digital sector.
