Clugston support local charities in thier 75th Year

Clugston whose North East office is in Hebburn are well on the way to hitting the £75,000 charity fund raising target set in this their 75th year since incorporation. Charities being supported by the construction, logistics ,property and facilities management Group in the North East include the Princes Trust “Get into Construction Programme”, Building Futures East at Walker and The Woodland Trust.

Clugston Construction, who are one of the Norths largest privately owned regional contractors have a track record in building and civil engineering projects for a variety of Clients but predominately the industrial, manufacturing and specialist process sectors. where they have recently secured contract awards of over £6 million.

This work coupled with ongoing major contracts in the Energy from Waste sector and commencement of activities by Barmston Developments at Turbine Park, Washington, where Clugston are joint venture partner with Wilton Developments, has allowed the Business to remain positive about the opportunities in the Region.

Regional Manager Steve Waggett commented “despite the continued challenges in the UK and regional economy, there are lots of things going on in the business at the moment which leaves us optimistic”.
