Mobile Entertainment’s Top 50 Mobile Innovators party

We were lucky enough to be chosen as one of the 2012 Top 50 mobile Innovators by Mobile Entertainment this month. This involved the arduous task of a trip down to London to attend a swanky reception at the 24 London Bar in Mayfair. It’s a hard life. The event was a chance to celebrate our great work over the past year, but it was also a great opportunity to network and meet some new people. The purpose behind the Top 50 project (which was established just last year) is to celebrate creative and successful representatives of the digital industry. The list is assembled by the Mobile Entertainment team with the help of a panel of judges comprising of venture capitalists, analysts and entrepreneurs. We were extremely proud to have been selected as one of the list.

We had a chat with Mike Shaw (the Editor of Mobile Entertainment) and he said the judges were really impressed with what we do at the lab, which is a massive compliment to us. We pride ourselves on the work we do, clients we work with and our general work ethos, so it’s great to be recognised for all of that. We were also told that we were the only North East based company to have been picked for the list – represent! A few free drinks later and we’d managed to work our way round quite a few people who’d also attended the event, including the people from Kabbee, Zeebox, Touchpress and Shazam. All in all a really good night. All that’s left to say is thanks to Mobile Entertainment for having us and for selecting us!
