Are your offering a good deal?
Today’s sales tip is based on my experience with one of my suppliers. It is about something I purchased last week and the process I experienced. I won’t name the supplier as they are on my sales tip mailing list. Th tip is about sitting too comfortably with your customer and possibly taking them for granted.
The back ground to this is that I have worked with this supplier for several years. I may not be a big spending customer but I have probably spent a few thousand pounds and had a great service. The only issue I had was over a year ago on something I raised that wasn’t resolved. Never the less since then I have ordered other stuff and the service was great. Over this period I have never queried the prices as the guy dealing with me did a great job and always offered me prices below his advertised prices. It made me happy and I was okay with this as I was confident that overall I was getting a great service.
However the tip this week is how quickly this can change with only one transaction. I called the company and told them what I was looking for and when. To read on click here..
