Nexus keeps business mobile

With an increasing amount of business conducted outside of the office, employers and employees are finding more of a use for mobile technology solutions. Smartphones are fast replacing notebook computers as the UK’s number one mobile business networking tool, a fact recognised by Nexus Vehicle Rental which has launched a new version of its innovative IRIS (Intelligent Rental Information System) system, optimised for mobile use.

As part of its commitment to innovation and customer service, Nexus, the UK’s leading provider of vehicle rental supply, outsourced rental management and systems, has introduced the IRIS mobile site free of charge for existing customers. The new service provides an easy to use, efficient booking system that can be used in any place at any time.

Once logged-in to the system, booking can be completed in less than a minute with quotes even quicker to obtain. Designed to emulate the IRIS PC system, the mobile site allows all tracking, damage claims and invoicing to be viewed in one central, portable place.

Nexus Managing Director, John Ellis explains: “With enterprise becoming increasingly mobile, we recognised a demand for businesses to function just as well on–the-road as in the office. We developed the IRIS mobile site, which offers booking and management of rental supply while on the move, in response to our customer’s needs.

“IRIS has been instrumental in the growth of our business and we are committed to developing the system in order to remain at the forefront of innovation in the sector. Our customers are already very happy with our service provision, as shown in our latest survey in which IRIS gained high ratings from over 90 per cent of respondents for ease of use and efficiency. However, we are constantly looking to innovate and provide added value to our customers through enhanced services, IRIS mobile enables us to do this through the provision of rental supply and management on the move.”

Nexus customers can access the new IRIS mobile site on both Android and iPhone operating systems at www.enexusrental.co.uk.

After recording significant profit and business growth over the last few years, Nexus has recently entered the Sunday Times Profit Track 100 for the first time appearing at number 42, in addition to earlier listings in the 2012 Buyout Track 100 and the 2011 Fast Track 100. The company is also featured in The Daily Telegraph Business Club.

Nexus provides clients with access to more than 360,000 vehicles from more than 1,700 locations across the UK managed through a quality supply chain accessed via the IRIS (Intelligent Rental Information System) software platform. www.nexusrental.co.uk
