Pilkington UK Building Sold
Acting on behalf of a fund, the Capital Markets team at CBRE has sold an industrial unit on Wentworth Industrial Estate in Tankersley, South Yorkshire to a private Yorkshire company.
The 60,000 sq ft unit has been sold for £2.05m and is occupied by Pilkington United Kingdom Limited.
Wentworth Industrial Estate lies 0.25 miles west of J36 of the M1 with good links to Sheffield which is 8 miles north and Leeds just 25 miles south providing access to the national motorway networks as well as several deep water ports and freight terminals.
Local occupiers include Chrysler UK, TDL Terex, Aecom, Phoneix, HSBC Data Centre, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue and ITAB.
Associate Director of Capital Markets at CBRE Leeds, Robin Bullas, said; “This is an established industrial location with great transport links and the building is let to a well known tenant.”
