NextGen Challenge 2012 awards - Finalists announced
NextGen Challenge - the UK’s annual competition for broadband network innovation - announced today the shortlisted Finalists ahead of the awards presentation during NextGen 12 Conference - 8 and 9 October. The competition was open to all project and community leaders and suppliers and was ‘technology nuetral’.
One of the 2012 judging panel, Chi Onwurah MP, has welcomed the submission of “Great innovative projects from across the country”
Entries this year ranged in scope from schemes that have brought broadband to remote Hebredian islands and the Highlands of Scotland, to projects in London for the City of Westminster and the Wembley City development.

The final result of the judging panel’s deliberations will be announced on October 8th at the NextGen12 conference dinner in the House of Commons Members’ Dining Room.
