Scottish IT firm find success in English acquisitions
Cloud computing firm iomart Group say business is strong following a duo of important acquisitions.
In August the firm bought North West IT company Melbourne for £7m, and also Surrey-based web-hosting outfit Skymarket.
iomart say both businesses have integrated will, in particular the Melbourne business as it extends reach into the North of England.
Angus MacSween, Chief Executive of iomart, said: “We are delighted with the continued progress of the business. The recent acquisitions are performing in line with our expectations. We are into our fifth year of double digit growth and the demand for our services remains robust as businesses increasingly see the value of outsourced cloud services.”
The company provide managed solutions to SMEs and corporate clients, typically for two to three years.
