Global Recognition for AlphaGraphics NE’s Commitment Innovation

AlphaGraphics North-East Win Worldwide Award for their Creative Approach to Multi-channel Marketing at the Annual XMPie Conference in Boston

Local marketing company, AlphaGraphics North East (AGNE) beat more than 800 hopefuls worldwide to win the highly acclaimed, prestigious “Xcellence Award” at the 2012 XMPie Users Group Conference, an international showcase of personalised cross media marketing, held in Boston, Massachusetts, earlier this month.

The Stockton based marketing company were accredited for their pioneering use of the XMPie variable data publishing software in an innovative marketing campaign combining a range of uniquely tailored, memorable communication across multiple media including highly personalised emails, SMS, direct mail and websites (Personalised URL’s).

One of the first in the UK to invest in the innovative technology behind the campaign, AlphaGraphics North East identified the turning point that initiated the idea; “Every one of our clients is unique and with such an extensive range of design, marketing and print services offered at AlphaGraphics, it became clear that we really needed to create our own communication tool that would enable us to quickly tailor our messages, making each one unique and personal to our clients and allowing us to give them the relevant information they need, when they want it.”

The campaign, referred to by AlphaGraphics as their ‘Contact Toolkit’, has become an essential marketing tool created by the business for their sales team to communicate with leads in a professional manner; sending out personalised, targeted and highly memorable information. Standard communications such as a follow-up to a sales meeting or a request for product information all receive a personal response, tailored to the customer enquiry. This competitive and innovative use of the software allows a high level of consistency and professionalism to be conveyed to potential customers, whilst improving internal productivity levels and streamlining the overall sales process.

AlphaGraphics North East are the most technologically advanced firm in the region and are now offering this ‘Toolkit’ service to local and national businesses.

The results of the ‘Contact Toolkit’ campaign demonstrate how AlphaGraphics’ innovative use of this software has been put to good use. Their Contact Toolkit is used daily by internal and external sales teams to communicate with clients and prospects with a massive 100% of customers reading through their personalised emails, and 99.3% clicking through to their personalised URL, a response rate which speaks for itself.

XMPie is the most advanced software of its kind, enabling customer data to be converted into creative content. Combine this with AlphaGraphics’ skilled marketing and design team, and several years experience working with the technology and you get highly targeted marketing campaigns that deliver a dramatic increase in response rates and ROI.

Stephen Jones, Commercial Director at AlphaGraphics North East stated: “It’s great for our business to be recognised in such an up and coming industry. This accolade proves to our customers that they are dealing with the very best supplier in cross media and personalised communications, and we look forward to winning the next award.”

Savvy Marketers and businesses understand the importance of the personal touch with both B2B and B2C brands seeing the benefits of targeted personal marketing. An article recently published in The Marketer (the magazine of The Chartered Institute of Marketing) stated; “A truly personal brand experience has become an elusive, yet desirable commodity for consumers. Personalised marketing campaigns or one-to-one marketing strategies are cutting through the cyber babble and striking a chord with target customers, who want to be treated as an individual.”
