Agile become Patrons of Teesside based Foundation
Agile have become Patrons of Middlesbrough & Teesside Philanthropic Foundation. The IT and Communications specialist based in Stockton were part of the recent Fire & Ice Ball that raised £20,000 for the foundation and Cash for Kids. As well as donating a specially designed Technology package for the events auction, Agile’s Managing Director Simon Scotchbrook made the highest winning bid on the night on an incredible piece of artwork created by artist Mackenzie Thorpe.
Of the artwork, Simon said “It’s a wonderful piece of art by Mackenzie and I’ll make sure it takes pride of place at Agile’s offices. It felt great to gain such a special piece while doing so much good for local causes.”
The Foundation was only launched in the early part of 2011 but has already gained considerable funds, interest and patrons in its relatively short life span. Set up to support and raise funds for local community groups, the Foundation has already helped a wide range of projects within Teesside.
Simon went on to add “Having worked with Andy (Chairman of the Foundation) in the past and listening to his emotive and ambitious outlook on the region, I was delighted to become a patron and look forward to contributing with projects in the future”.
