Just the ticket for culture vultures
LOVERS of the performing arts will find a leading restaurant’s latest campaign just the ticket.
For music and theatre fans heading into Newcastle can take advantage of a promotional offer worth almost 40% off their food bill … simply be showing staff their event ticket.
Raval Luxury Indian Restaurant’s early evening menu is already outstanding value at £15.95.
Now those attending concerts and stage shows can enjoy the same meal for just £9.95.
Restaurant manager Avi Malik explained: “Raval wants to do all it can to support the performing arts.
“Our special offer for theatre and concert-goers will encourage people to make a night of it when they come into the city, rather than just turn up for the performance.
“To qualify for the promotional price, customers have to show us a valid concert or theatre ticket for that evening.”
The early evening menu is available for orders placed between 5.30pm and 6.45pm and comprises a main dish, a vegetable dish and a lentil dish together with rice and freshly baked naan bread.
The offer is available to guests attending any of the region’s music or theatre venues, including the Theatre Royal, Tyne Theatre, Sage Music Centre, Metro Radio Arena, City Hall and Carling Academy.
