And to cap it all...
Today’s GDP announcement has come at an excellent time for businesses, consumers and the Great British public in general. After an incredible year, the news that the United Kingdom is no longer in a recession tops off these truly unique past 12 months. Morale is already high and this news will certainly reaffirm this and come as a big relief to many.
In many ways, the news is unexpected as local statistics and figures indicated businesses within the North-East, where my business is based, have been performing well. Now that we have this confirmed through national figures, hopefully we will see a rise in confidence amongst buyers and businesses that are willing to trade.
