Good Attributes That Will Get You Ahead

In business, as in life, there are several attributes to have that can get you ahead.

Firstly, application.

If you apply yourself correctly, and in my case with business, try to stay ahead of the curve, work out what needs tinkering with and how best to stay relevant and effective, you will continue to flourish.

Secondly, reputation.

Maintaining a good reputation is vital. My own was built up because I knew that working online and creating Myk Baxter Marketing as an online marketing consultancy meant that I would need a good results based reputation in order to grow my business and attract a wider range of clients. Word of mouth, good results and good visibility and presentation were key in the building of this reputation, and with a good reputation come good business. Generally, with a bad reputation comes bad business.

Thirdly, results.

Results should come with application and other key attributes, such as punctuality, competence and commitment. But at the end of the day, it is the results that will define you as a business if you are providing a service. If it is a product, then that product must deliver. If it is a service, then your services must be consistently good in order for you to flourish and grow.

Myk Baxter Marketing became a field leader because I became known through my reputation for getting results and at the same time not over promising and under delivering but letting the customer know exactly what they were getting.
