North East car dealerships in fundraising ?drive?

Teesside and North Yorkshirecar dealerships are doing their bit to raise funds for this year’s Children in Need appeal.

Peugeot is an official partner for the charity for 2012 and Simon Bailes Peugeot is running a competition to win an iPad2 across its three dealerships in Guisborough, Stockton and Northallerton.

Official merchandise is already available from all three dealerships and staff are now planning to raise as much as possible before the Children in Need telethon night on November 16th.

For a small donation of £1 per guess, people can enter a competition to win an iPad2 by guessing the number of Children in Need balloons inside a Peugeot 208. People can visit any dealership to take part.

Peugeot has worked with Children in Need over the last few years, providing transport for various events but this year opted to be an official partner to take on a bigger role.

Simon Bailes said: “Fundraising and helping our local communities is an important part of what we do- it always has been. We get involved with a number of organisations ranging from young people’s sports clubs to support for community events. Children in Need is a great cause because it helps many across our local community. It’s a pleasure to be able to raise some funds for this worthy charity plus it’s great fun and we look forward to welcoming customers old and new to our dealerships to join in the competition and help us achieve our fundraising goal.”
