Euro Hostel Newcastle launches free wifi

Anyone familiar with the Euro Hostel brand will know that it’s one for pioneering the way when it comes to hostel stays.

Having single-handedly dragged hostels kicking and screaming into the 21st century and positioned its venues as the go-to accommodation for savvy travellers of all ages, the team at Euro Hostel Newcastle and Glasgow has now upped the ante with the addition of free wifi.

The move comes on the back of customer demand and has been the logical next step for the budget accommodation provider, whose flagship Newcastle hostel already sets itself apart with the availability of a guest kitchen, guest laundry, meeting facilities, children’s chill out room and the popular Ware Rooms bar.

William McClelland, managing director of Euro Hostel, said: “Hostel accommodation has changed for the better and we are committed to enhancing the guest experience in every way we can.

“We gather lots of customer feedback and the one thing that came back overwhelmingly was that people wanted free wifi. We’ve had a hugely positive response since introducing it in Newcastle and Glasgow. Unlike other hostels and hotels, we are offering free wifi throughout our properties and not just in public areas.

“It’s a bold and we think unique move from a budget accommodation provider but one that underlines our commitment to providing the best value possible at all times.”

The Euro Hostel network offers a range of singles, doubles, twins, triples and family rooms, as well as rooms that can accommodate up to ten people, with costs starting from £16 per person in a dorm and £29 for a single room. For more information, please visit www.euro-hostels.co.uk. ends
