Northgate Vehicle Hire Appoints Sales & Marketing Director
Northgate Vehicle Hire, market leader in flexible hire and fleet solutions, has appointed Jon Tobbell as National Sales and Marketing Director to drive the company’s ambitious plans into 2013.
Previously working as Commercial Director for Hermes Logistics, Jon has a strong track record when it comes to delivering results, having achieved an impressive 50% revenue increase in his former role. Jon hopes to achieve comparable results in his new role for Northgate.
The position will see Jon take charge of Northgate’s 100 strong sales team across the company’s 62 sites. Reporting to Northgate’s CEO, Bob Contreras, Jon will be responsible for driving sales for the national team which, after a re-structure earlier this year, now involves Fleet Management, Vehicle Monitoring and Northgate Vehicle Sales, allowing the company to consult with customers using one representative to support their complete fleet needs.
On his new role, Jon commented: “There is a common misconception that Northgate only offers commercial vehicle hire, this is not the case; Northgate offers flexible hire and complete fleet solutions, and it is this untold story that appealed to me. As National Sales and Marketing Director it is now my responsibility to ensure that this message transpires and, as a result, our complete fleet solutions help to generate further growth across the business.”
