Shout Named Region?s Best Marketing Agency
Shout Digital has cemented its position as one of the most successful digital marketing agencies in the region by scooping a major industry award.
The organisation, which has grown to more than 20 staff and a £1m annual turnover in under three years since launching, has been named the North East’s Best Marketing Business at the MiAwards.
Founder and managing director, Gary Boon, said the award is testament to the effort and talent levels of the entire team at Shout Digital. “As a relatively young agency, an award like this so early on in our life is confirmation of what I’ve believed from a very early stage, and that is that we have a team here capable of anything.
“I’m massively ambitious to grow Shout into one of the UK’s top 100 digital marketing agencies. There is a lot more to do, but this award shows we are well on the way. I’m thrilled and so thankful to each and every member of the team.”
The glittering ceremony held in Manchester also saw Shout shortlisted for overall Digital Agency of the Year, Boon himself be shortlisted for MD of the Year and Shout impressively put forward on the night onto the shortlist for the Chairman’s Choice Grand Prix Award.
The MiAwards is organised and led by the respected creative agency trade magazine, The Drum. Boon added: “The shortlisting for the Chairman’s Choice was almost as thrilling as winning the North East Award. This is decided by the judges from the MiAwards and we were honoured to be among such distinguished company. This is a special way for us to close what has been another amazing year, and gives us all the confidence that 2013 will be another year of growth and success at Shout.”
The company, who’s HQ overlooks the Newcastle Gateshead Quayside, has devised web-based, online and mobile strategies for the likes of OK! Magazine, Nova International, Sage and the luxury St Ermin’s Hotel in the heart of Central London.
It has also recently become the sole North East member of the prestigious W3C organization, which is led by Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web. Shout, along with the likes of Facebook,
Microsoft and Apple, has joined less than 400 worldwide members of W3C to work on the future direction of web technologies and protocols.
