Copywriting company mucks in for charity
A North East copywriting company has taken to extreme measures to raise money for a local charity.
Stockton-based Precise English, which specialises in search engine optimisation (SEO) and content writing services, has raised £873 for Autism charity Daisy Chain by completing the ‘Tough Mudder Competition’ in Cheshire.
The ‘Tough Mudder Competition’ is a 12-mile obstacle course designed by British Special Forces and includes severe trials such as jumping up half-pipes and running through electro-shocks.
Daisy Chain, which is also based inStockton, supports families affected by Autism by hosting activity days for them, offering listening services and creating general awareness of the disorder.
Benjamin Kerry, managing director of Precise English said: “Daisy Chain does wonderful things for those living with Autism.
“The Tough Mudder Competition is such an incredible challenge and because of that I thought I would be able to raise more money for the charity.”
Benjamin and Ben Thomas, web designer at Precise English, trained for six months in order to take part in the gruelling challenge and managed to complete it in just over three hours.
Benjamin added: “As hard as it was, it was most certainly fun and definitely worth it.”
After growing its portfolio of clients in Southern England, Precise English is now planning to open a new office in North London and is also currently working on creating an American version of its website to facilitate overseas clients.
The Company provides its clients with services in SEO copywriting as well as newsletter, website content and press release writing.
