Height working safety firm secure £3m contracts
Wiltshire-based Latchways has secured two contracts worth more than £3m for the current year.
The designer and manufacturer of fall protection systems for working at height has won business through Airbus, following their procurement of Wingrip systems for the A380 aircraft, and a contract in Australia with SPAusNet’s, on their electricity transmission towers.
Chief executive David Hearson said: “In our interim results announcement of 12 November 2012, we stated that a number of significant order prospects were giving us confidence in a strong second half performance.
“We are pleased to confirm that two of these prospects have now resulted in firm orders worth in excess of £3 million combined revenue for this year.”
