Fairfield Health Club and Spa appoints general manager
Bannatyne’s Health Club and Spa in Fairfield has appointed a new experienced General Manager to lead the team.
Sean Marriott, 39, brings over 20 years industry experience to the role at Fairfield’s premier fitness and relaxation experience.
Before taking charge at the Hitchin Road based club, Sean was the General Manager at Bannatyne’s Clubs in Peterborough and Norwich.
Beginning his career in 1991 at a local authority fitness centre, Sean joined as a sports assistant, rapidly progressing through his qualifications to become a studio manager, furthering onto a fitness manager and later advancing to General Manager at Bannatyne’s
Sean enjoys spending his spare time playing golf and running. He has taken part in road races, including the London Marathon, which he was able to complete in four and a half hours.
The Bannatyne’s Health Club and Spa is set in the scenic surroundings of Fairfield Hall complete with large grounds and the stunning architecture.
Inside Fairfield Hall visitors will find a wide range of relaxation and wellbeing opportunities ranging from Bannatyne’s fully-equipped gymnasium to its spa, which offers a wide selection of luxurious spa and beauty treatments for men and women, including massages and facials.
As part of Bannatyne’s commitment to deliver a comprehensive approach to healthy lifestyles and quality equipment, gymnasium features the latest range of cardiovascular and resistance training apparatus.
The equipment includes six, state-of-the-art, Kinesis stations, which provide a combination of strength and functional training for users.
Other stand-out equipment on offer at Bannatyne’s are the Cross Over, which provides a movement similar to skating or skiing and the Vario, which offers three different movements that can be changed without the need for users to stop the machine or take their feet off the platforms.
One of the hidden gems of Bannatyne’s is its swimming pool area, which is hidden in the vaults of Fairfield Hall. This spectacular facility includes a stunning steam room with fibre optic-lit ceiling, a 14-seat spa pool and a relaxation area. All of this is set against the backdrop of a 16-metre swimming pool.
