Business heats up for takeaway pizza shop

A popular pizza fast food takeaway and specialist delivery service is looking for a bigger slice of the market after launching a groundbreaking new app for its customers.

Middlesbrough’s Amigos Pizza has also rebranded, launched a new website and added four new members of staff to its team after over two decades of dishing out takeaway favourites on Teesside.

The company now plans to launch additional shops across Teesside as its increased online presence boosts its customer base and already strong reputation in the region.

The new app allows customers to select and pay for food at the touch of a button and is supplemented by a new website, www.myamigos.co.uk. The shop’s delivery drivers are also now monitored by GPS technology, giving customers a more precise idea of how long their order will take to reach them.

New meal deals have also been added to the fast food firm’s hugely popular menu, including its new family feast range, and the interior of its shop has also been refurbished and modernised.

Rofan Mansha, managing director of Amigos, said: “I am very happy with the refurbishment and the rebrand – it makes the shop look more stylish and modern. I think our app will be successful as it is keeping up to date with today’s modern demands.”

Amigos, which is known locally as ‘the pizza delivery specialist’, is an established and hugely popular business which is well regarded for its outstanding quality of food and service.

The business, which has a 5* star food hygiene rating, serves pizzas, parmesans, donner kebabs, grilled chicken and lamb kebabs and burgers – all made with the finest, fresh ingredients.

It also caters for corporate events and parties and will soon launch a new advertising campaign that will give businesses in the region the chance to win a party meal for all their staff.
