Eliesha are teaching the world about business
Eliesha Training, the national Newcastle based Leadership and Management training company, has announced the worldwide launch of the Eliesha Distance Learning College. Offering a wide range of business related courses that result in a qualification from either the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the Eliesha Distance Learning College has already been receiving enquiries from businesses and individuals as far away as the USA and India.
Aled Evans of Eliesha Training, says, “Primarily we are a face to face training organisation and we will continue to be so for the foreseeable future. A recent strategic review revealed that our current infrastructure and capability was ideally suited to introduce a distance learning option for our clients. We already had the skills, knowledge and accredited centre awards required. The biggest and best organisations in the country come to us for their training and we are delighted to be able to offer this same expertise in a new format. The added benefit for Eliesha is that this style of learning also opens up the market for sales direct to the public and to smaller businesses that would not normally be able to take advantage of our knowledge and skills.”
“With our qualifications starting from just £499, it makes sense for so many businesses and individuals to enhance their skills in this way, rather than pay up to £9k per annum to attend a University. The benefit to business is that they get to keep the talented individual as part of the organisation as they grow and develop. For the learner, the obvious benefit is that they can continue in employment while developing themselves, therefore avoiding a mountain of debt. As our distance learning qualifications are accredited it means that there is a tangible reward at the end of the study period, and as courses are available to purchase online, it means that our learners can study at the pace and at the time that suits them, wherever they are in the world.”
“At Eliesha, we understand that when undertaking a distance learning course, the needs and support required by each person vary dramatically. Students need information and support relevant to each stage of their studies. When designing the Eliesha Distance Learning College it was obvious to us that our focus must remain on the learner, even though they would not be physically present. To negate the risks that are inherent in distance learning, Eliesha has put in place a unique learning and support package with tutor support and additional online resources for all of our learners.”
Eliesha are an accredited ILM and CMI centre and have helped over 2,000 people to achieve management qualifications in the last year, while delivering over 100,000days of training, learning and development. In addition, Eliesha is the only CMI accredited centre in the UK able to offer distance learners the opportunity to earn Chartered status, ultimately recognising their ability to apply theory to practice.
The website distancelearning.eliesha.com has already been receiving enquiries from as far afield as the USA and India, and Eliesha Distance Learning College expects to start enrolling the first cohort of learners from early January 2013, helping them to prove their commitment to being a better manager and leader and opening the doors to their career progression.
