New Year, new offices for True Potential

Newcastle-based True Potential LLP, one of the fastest growing and most innovative financial services organisations in the UK, continues its success with a move to an impressive new office space in Newburn Riverside business park.

The building, which had been empty for more than two years, has been transformed into a contemporary office space combining meeting suites, training facilities and a central cafe with views across the Tyne.

David Harrison, managing partner at True Potential LLP commented: “We have offices in both Newcastle-upon-Tyne and London and are proud to say that Newburn Riverside is our headquarters.

“Many of the people we deal with work for large private equity houses, investment houses and banks in areas such as Canary Wharf. With the design and contemporary feel of the new office, we like to think that we have brought a little bit of London to the North East and our clients, visitors and especially potential recruits who have previously worked in The City have complimented the design.”

The futuristic office space, designed by Simon Grundy and built by Graeme Ash, was one of three projects shortlisted for the Commercial Interiors Project of the Year award at Mixology North 2012. The space is equipped with pods complete with personal television screens, webcams and controls to adjust lighting, as well as a central bar area and quirky library.

Mr Harrison continued: “As we are constantly changing and growing as we come up with new ideas, we needed a building that can grow with us.”

True Potential LLP is a £220m turnover financial services group providing technology and business support services to over 21 per cent of the UK IFA market and financial advisory services for private individuals.

In 2012, a very challenging time for most financial services providers, profits for True Potential LLP have grown by 80% and are expected to exceed £4m. The firm currently employs 109 partners and staff, creating economic growth and sustainable employment, with total remuneration for this highly talented team exceeding £3.8m per annum. This has been created from a start-up situation in 2007.
