Hair Extensions Firm Secures Dancing on Ice Deal
A North East hair extensions company has successfully secured a lucrative deal for the second year running with primetime reality programme Dancing on Ice to work with the show’s renowned celebrity hairdresser.
Stockton-based Additional Lengths, which is one of the country’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of hair extensions and associated accessories within the UK, is working with award-winning hairdresser Paul Haskell to supply extensions throughout the eighth series of the hit ITV show.
Mr Haskell, who is responsible for the hair design of all competing celebrities, professional skaters and is also the personal hairdresser to Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, worked with Additional Lengths last series and was so impressed he has teamed up with them again.
Celebrities have already been seen wearing some of Additional Lengths’ products including Samia Ghadie and Pamela Anderson who both had clip in extensions to add extra volume.
Victoria Lynch, Additional Lengths founder, said: “We are delighted to be working with Paul Haskell and primetime show Dancing on Ice for another consecutive year. It is testament to our high quality range of extensions and accessories that we have been asked to work with them once again and our fantastic relationship with the team.
“Some of our extensions have already been used on episodes of the show and we are working closely with Paul throughout the ten week series. Dancing on Ice is all about glamour so the celebrities’ costumes and hair have to be show-stopping and breathtaking.”
The company has two retail stores and salons on Stockton High Street and also in Leeds city centre as well as an online shop.
Mr Haskell, who has worked on the show for four years, also works on other primetime shows including Strictly Come Dancing and Popstar to Operastar.
