Leisure Group Adds Design Company
A leading North East leisure company is consolidating its operations by bringing its celebrated design division under the umbrella of its parent company.
The Fluid Group, which is currently marking 17 years of operating bars, clubs and coffee shops across the North East, has now added Fluid Design Solutions to its portfolio.
The design arm of the company has been in operations since 2001, creating bespoke interior designs for the leisure industry for clients across the UK and Europe which includes Fluid Group properties such as Barluga, Hood Street Club and Perdu in Newcastle.
With the retirement of long-standing director Dave King this month, current directors Oliver Vaulkhard and Sarah Bowens see moving the design operation under the control of the parent company as a logical move.
“Fluid Design Solutions has built up a deserved first class reputation over the years by creating sophisticated and imaginative interiors for restaurants, bars and night clubs,” said Mr Vaulkhard.
“The company has worked side by side with the venues operated by The Fluid Group so it makes sense for them to now to be officially under the same umbrella.
Mr Vaulkhard added that the design company would continue “to offer the same services and the high standards that our clients have come to expect.”
