Business Environment to inspire

Business Environment, one of the UK’s leading serviced office providers, has launched a brand new SMARTpreneur award which aims to encourage entrepreneurs to put their ideas into action and give them the boost they need to get them off the ground.

The annual award will recognise an outstanding entrepreneur whose business plan catches the imagination of the judging panel. To enter, aspiring business owners need to submit their business plan along with five top tips that they think will make their idea a success by 31 March (http://www.beoffices.com/business-centre/b2bnetworking/smartpreneur-award-2013).

Business Environment will be offering an exclusive prize which includes one year’s desk space worth £4,000 in a prestigious location with call answering, mail handling and VIP access to its &Meetings facilities. In addition, access to an accountant and lawyer, as well as a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style mentor will be provided. Marketing, branding and PR support will also help build the company’s personality and raise its profile with customers and the media.

“The economic recession is putting pressure on businesses of all sizes,” comments David Saul, Managing Director, Business Environment. “It is my strong belief that entrepreneurs are vital to getting the economy back on its feet and that we should be doing everything we can to support them. Our SMARTpreneur award has been created to provide invaluable support at one of the most financially challenging times in any business – its conception. I look forward to seeing the diverse business propositions we receive.”

The winner of the award will also have access to Business Environment’s recently launched Business Lounge extranet. The portal delivers an online platform where the company’s customers can post business updates and network with each other to gain useful insights from other industries and even generate new business leads.

Once entries have closed, the judging panel will select a shortlist of five entrants, announced on 1 May, who will be invited to present their business case in person. The overall winner will then be selected and will receive the award in London on 31 May.
