Travel agency offers music lovers a sunny deal
A holiday company is continuing to offer music lovers a special deal when they bring in their HMV gift cards.
Dawson and Sanderson, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, introduced an exclusive offer last weekend following the news that music chain HMV entered administration and was not accepting gift cards.
Customers with up to a £25 value on their HMV gift cards have been able to take them into any Dawson and Sanderson branch to receive that value off the cost of their summer 2013 holiday.
Despite the fact that HMV is now accepting gift cards, Dawson and Sanderson’s offer will still run until Saturday, February 2, and can be redeemed in store or through www.holidayco.co.uk, on a choice of thousands of holidays.
Terms and conditions apply, and customers can contact their nearest Dawson and Sanderson branch for further details.
Chris Pattison, managing director of Dawson and Sanderson said: “Over the weekend we’ve been happy to accept HMV gift cards, as we knew that so many people received them for Christmas and we wanted to help customers get something back for their money.
“Even though circumstances have changed and HMV are now accepting gift cards, we’re still pleased to offer customers an alternative option - the opportunity to receive a discount on our excellent range of summer 2013 options.
“We we hope that by accepting the cards in our branches, holidaymakers will appreciate the chance to save some money towards the cost of this year’s summer holiday with family or friends.”
Dawson and Sanderson was established in 1962 and now has 21 branches across the North East and Yorkshire.
The company’s holiday packages and flights are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority.
