Business Initiative to Launch at Aycliffe Business Park
The Steering Group for Aycliffe Business Park, the second largest industrial estate in the North East covering 672 acres, has announced that a launch event for an initiative relevant to all businesses on the estate will take place on 1st February 2013.
The business park is of regional significance and the largest in County Durham with a critical mass of over 300 businesses including; Gestamp Tallent, Tetley, 3M, Lidl, Stiller and RFMD registered on the park and totalling 10,000 employees. The arrival of Hitachi Rail Europe to locate its UK train manufacturing facility on the Park further underlines its importance as a major employment area with opportunities for growth.
Chairperson, Kerina Clark of the Aycliffe Business Group comments: “The steering group and committee for Aycliffe Business Park are represented by business men and women from a variety of organisations on the park and we are hosting an event and invite all businesses based on the park to come along and hear about an exciting initiative which is relevant to any size business on the estate.
“As the area goes from strength to strength, we would encourage all businesses to come along and find out more about how they can participate and benefit from forthcoming opportunities through a series of initiatives planned for the area.”
The free event will be held on February 1st, at the Xcel Centre, Aycliffe Business Park 9.30-11am. Businesses can register for free on http://youdontwanttomissthis.eventbrite.co.uk/
