Alfresco make German acquisition
Maidenhead-based Software firm Alfresco have acquired German outfit, WeWebU.
Alfresco describe the move as a “key milestone” as it will allow customers to streamline content-centric business processes such as contract, deal and eFile management, as well as managing employee files and financial documents.
WeWebU provide applications for organisations such as Swiss Accident Insurance (SUVA), Mannheimer Insurance and the public sector.
Doug Dennerline, CEO of Alfresco, said: “Alfresco and WeWebU already have existing joint customers and common partners, together we share a common vision of delivering seamless content solutions that work inside the enterprise, the cloud and across mobile devices.”
Stefan Waldhauser, CEO of WeWebU, added: “We are excited to join Alfresco and combine our expertise to create and help deliver the future of business-critical content management and collaboration.”
