Sales targets missed at Merseyside manufacturer
Haydock-based Coral Products has revealed sales and profits for the year are expected to fall below market expectations.
The cd and dvd case manufacturer has experienced a declining market for some time, and said the performance of its Interpack business, which produces pots, boxes and plastic buckets countered “disappointing” performance in its media packaging lines.
Coral expect that overall sales and profit targets for the year ending April 30 will not be met.
The firm said a number of new lines including ice cream and salad containers should see increased sales as warmer months approach.
