Cruise lines reduce prices following slow January
Recent press releases and a report in Travel Weekly indicate that the cruise industry in the UK had a tough January.
Various travel agents, cruise holiday providers and portals have seen prices reduced.
A report on TravelWeekly.co.uk states that Cruise.co.uk, Cruise 1st and Travelzoo have emailed out a range of competitive offers and deals January.
Cruise1st.co.uk have launced a Reduced to Clear page on their website, with offers on cruises from £599 per person for 6-8 night trips.
For 12 to 14 night cruises there are offers available from £999 per person. The offers are all on Royal Caribbean cruises.
Deals include some with up to $70 free onboard spend, or a £50 contribution towards UK port car parking, UK port coach transfer.
Consumers have been advised to book now if they are planning on travelling in 2013, especially on cruises from Southampton.
